Wired New York Webcam 1 started it’s operation from a new location at the Orion building (map) on 8 April 2007. The view is looking South, down Hudson River, with the Statue of Liberty in the upper left corner of the frame, with Ninth Avenue and Lincoln Tunnel ramps in the center.

The webcam started using new StarDot NetCam XL camera on 2 March 2007. The page for the old webcam is still available (not for long).

The previous location was on the 31st floor of Worldwide Plaza (map). The view was looking west, towards Hudson River and New York Cruise Terminal.

Wired New York Webcam 2 started it’s operation from a new location at the Orion building on 4/14/2007. The view is south-east, with Empire State Building in the center, New York Times Tower on the left, Metropolitan Tower and Nelson Tower on the right.

The previous location was in Midtown Manhattan, on the 31st floor of Worldwide Plaza, Ninth Avenue between West 49th and 50th Streets. The view was looking north, towards Time Warner Center, Central Park, and Hearst Magazine Buiding.

Wired New York Webcam 3 is located in Weehawken, NJ. The view is looking east, towards New York Cruise Terminal and Midtown Manhattan.
